Cream cheese garlic spread

Garlic and chives flavor an easy cream cheese spread to serve with crackers, brea or bagels. Rich, savory and buttery, this scrumptious 4-ingredient cream cheese- and butter-based spread is a perfect topping for your low-carb or keto bread — kind of like a homemade version of Boursin, the popular (and terribly addictive!) herbed garlic-cheese spread. If you follow a keto lifestyle, you can use this delicious spread as a fat bomb, too.


In a small bowl, beat cream cheese and oil until fluffy. Spoon into a small container. Cover and refrigerate at least hour.

I’ve been doing intermittent fasting for the past couple of weeks and have found that it really helps keep me on track with staying low carb.


Combine cream cheese , butter, garlic , and salt in the bowl of a food processor. There are easy and simple ways to make the boring food taste great without going to much effort. It’s easy to pull together and I love to serve it instead of plain old butter when I have guests for dinner…plus then I have some left over for morning bagels or to spread on sandwiches.

True to my promise, here is the delectable whipped butter spread I was telling you about Monday. Equal parts cream cheese and butter with a healthy dose of all things flavor, the spread doesn’t taste overly cream cheesy – in fact, it stays loyal to the whipped butter taste and the cream cheese simply helps give it a dimension of light fluffiness that boosts its addictive appeal. Chill in refrigerator overnight or hours. This can be frozen for long-term storage. Garlic , cream cheese and a variety of herbs, including dill, which is my absolute favorite - this recipe will brighten your day and awaken your senses, a perfect combination.


To make the spread , I used butter, whipped cream cheese , shredded Italian cheese , pizza seasoning, garlic powder and onion powder. First, I whipped the softened butter. I read a tip recently for softening butter, place stick of butter, in its wrapper, in the microwave for seconds, turning the stick every seconds. We tend to use this cream cheese on bagels (pumpernickel or rosemary salt are my fa-ha-haaaaaavorite combos with this particular cream cheese blend) but it’s also great spread on a piece of toast and topped with a fried egg or mixed into your favorite pasta sauce. There’s just enough herb and garlic flavor to be interesting, and the soft whipped cream cheese makes the whole thing taste.


When we think of a savoury, satisfying, and quick breakfast option, bagels and cream cheese are the first thing to come to mind. Herb and Garlic Tofu and Cashew Spread. This spread is made with cream cheese , parmesan, basil leaves, and walnuts for a pesto-like flavor. Enjoy with crackers or toasted baguettes.


In a food processor, combine the basil and garlic. Process until finely chopped. Add cream cheese , Parmesan cheese , walnuts, olive oil, and a few turns of ground black pepper.


French bread (white or wheat), butter, granulated garlic, paprika (sweet paprika), dried parsley and cream cheese (the block or spreadable type).

A printable recipe with the measurements and instructions is located at the bottom of this post. Preheat oven to 3degrees F. Ohhhh…sorry to hear the Rosemary bush didn’t make it through last winter…. In a bowl add butter, sour cream , and cream cheese. Add the garlic and herbs and mix together well. Season, to taste, with salt and pepper.
